Part Time Event Custodian

CAM-PLEX is currently looking for individuals for the position of Part-Time Event Custodian. The qualified candidates will perform a full range of custodial duties as they relate to the care, maintenance, and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities; perform event set-up and tear down; provide other assistance as required by an individual event and/or user. Work varied hours to include nights, evenings, weekends and holidays. Valid driver's license required.

$10-12/HR DOE.

Part-Time Maintenance Technician

CAM-PLEX is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of journey level and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work of assigned CAM-PLEX Facilities; provide a variety of journey level and semi-skilled maintenance and repair which may include interior, exterior and equipment repairs. Troubleshoot operating problems for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems in the County facilities, provide recommendations for long-term solutions, and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Assist in the installation, repair and maintenance of varied building components including computer and communication cabling, electrical wiring, light fixtures and related equipment. Available for snow removal in the early mornings, on call or emergency services as necessary.

Pay is dependent on experience.

Performing Arts Manager

CAM-PLEX has an exciting opportunity for a Performing Arts Manager. The position plans, coordinates and implements live performances, concerts, and other events in our newly remodeled Heritage Center Theater, and across our entire campus. In addition, the Performing Arts Manager works with local educators to produce a variety of content designed to complement the district’s curriculum. Known as our Rural Arts Program, Cam-Plex partners with the community to bring exciting and engaging content to our schools and broader community. The Performing Arts Manager will secure funding, largely through grants. May act as a spokesperson for Cam-Plex on social media, and ensures information is accurate and timely.

EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Work with national talent agencies to curate and book a season of acts and artists.
  • Apply for and secure grants to fund the season and rural arts program.
  • Partner and coordinate with the school district to develop a program to compliment the year’s curriculum.
  • Book popular entertainment as an internal promoter, and through partnerships with outside promoters.
  • Develop and adhere to a budget for the season.
  • Be the point of contact for outside groups interested in booking the theater for rentals including dance competitions, recitals, school district student concerts, and other events.
  • Assist the sales and marketing team in advertising and promoting all events at CAM-PLEX. Curate relevant and accurate content for social media channels, digital signage, print signage, and website.
  • Coordinate travel, hotels, hospitality, & other needs of contracted acts.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director and Box Office Manager.
  • Function as the Front of House Manager for season events, and coordinate Front of House positions to be staffed for all Heritage Center events.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Arts, Education, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in public relations, marketing, or event production.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.


This is a full-time benefitted position. $47,000 - $50,000/year DOE + Excellent Benefits

Sales Manager

CAM-PLEX is currently looking to fill the position of Sales Manager. This position schedules and coordinates facility rentals for various events that may take place simultaneously for full utilization of CAM-PLEX facilities, and ensures adequate space and equipment is available for each event. Pursues and manages event bookings, including overseeing all elements of event planning. Utilizes special computerized software. Research, compiles, and prepares a variety of fiscal, statistical, and administrative reports. Assists in transferring information from one type of software to another. Prepares use contracts. Generates invoices and provides calendars to ensure proper facility and setup for event. Coordinates other special events.

Experience in planning, hospitality, or related field. Must be able to work independently. Three to five years of experience organizing and marketing events in a multi-event facility preferred. Six months plus training beyond High School. Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

This is a full time benefitted position. $39,520.00 – $49,387.84/year DOE

Rodeo/Equine Event Technician - Full Time

CAM-PLEX is currently looking a full-time Event Technician. The qualified candidates will perform a variety of event setup, teardown, and maintenance of agricultural buildings including indoor and outdoor arenas, and other buildings as assigned. Provide other assistance as required by individual event and/or user; work varied hours to include nights, weekends and holidays. Three to four years of related experience in event setup including the operation of job related equipment and ability to obtain Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.


EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1 Operate equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner as required by facility needs. Perform daily maintenance including oil levels, air and fuel filters, grease fittings and tire pressure checks.
2. Maintain dirt arenas for all events as required.
3. Assist with setup and tear down of CAM-PLEX events in East Pavilion including rodeos, cuttings, livestock sales, roping competitions, and the county fair.
4. Clean and maintain stables, make repairs as needed.
5. Assist with snow removal which may include plowing, hand shoveling and dispersing ice melting compounds as needed.
6. Setup and teardown of various types of stalls, holding pens, bucking chutes, roping chutes, crows nest's, bleachers, animal cages and pens.

Full Time - $19.52/hr plus excellent benefits: Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance & Wyoming Retirement Pension. Paid time off for vacation, sick and holiday.

Part Time Box Office Positions

Performing Arts Volunteer

Performing Arts Ambassador

Ambassadors are volunteers who help staff events in the Heritage Center Theater. Ambassadors perform duties such as:
  • Greet the public
  • Assist patrons to their seats
  • Take tickets
  • Hand out programs
  • Crowd control
  • Assist handicapped patrons
  • Help in the gallery
  • Bake cookies
  • Sell concessions and/or merchandise
The requirements to become an ambassador are:
  • At least be Junior High School age or older
  • Be able to work with the public
  • Show an interest in performing arts events
  • Want to have fun
