Sales and Events Coordinator

CAM-PLEX is currently looking to fill the position of Sales and Events Coordinator. This position gathers, coordinates, and plans sales and events information amongst cross functional teams to ensure for the planned and efficient execution of sales and event planning. Communicates with customers and staff to ensure smooth delivery of information between event planners and staff. Assists in the setup, teardown, and operation of events. Assists in coordinating information and support between departments and cross functional teams to ensure that what is sold to a customer is possible to be executed, is coordinated properly, and it executed per plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Liaise between the sales, marketing events custodial and technical teams' information relevant to the production of events.
  • Assist with customers and staff, responding to incoming messages and seeking information from events by phone and email.
  • Meet with events stakeholders to discuss their event needs, goals, and offer solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments and cross-functional teams regularly to ensure the smooth transition of information from request to execution.
  • Attending event planning meetings.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and related activities. Serves on committees as assigned.
  • Review event diagrams to establish feasibility and assist in the planning for efficient operations.
  • Review equipment utilization to identify equipment shortages and coordination needs.
  • Ensure documentation of events are updated and correct charges are entered to be invoiced.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency on CAM-PLEX event operations and processes.
  • Be On Call on a rotating schedule to respond to event needs and urgent issues.
  • Backup other event coordinators during their PTO by maintaining their workload.
  • Works with customers to ensure for the setup, breakdown, operation, and production of events as directed.
  • Notifies management of any equipment malfunctions, safety violations, and improper use of equipment by staff or users.
  • Attends workshops, conferences, and classes to increase professional knowledge. Services on committees as assigned.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and procedures.
  • Performs related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
Required Licenses or Certifications:
  • Class C Driver's License
This is a full time benefitted position starting at $20.58/hour.

Rodeo/Equine Event Technician - Full Time

CAM-PLEX is currently looking a full-time Event Technician. The qualified candidates will perform a variety of event setup, teardown, and maintenance of agricultural buildings including indoor and outdoor arenas, and other buildings as assigned. Provide other assistance as required by individual event and/or user; work varied hours to include nights, weekends and holidays. Three to four years of related experience in event setup including the operation of job related equipment and ability to obtain Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.


EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1 Operate equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner as required by facility needs. Perform daily maintenance including oil levels, air and fuel filters, grease fittings and tire pressure checks.
2. Maintain dirt arenas for all events as required.
3. Assist with setup and tear down of CAM-PLEX events in East Pavilion including rodeos, cuttings, livestock sales, roping competitions, and the county fair.
4. Clean and maintain stables, make repairs as needed.
5. Assist with snow removal which may include plowing, hand shoveling and dispersing ice melting compounds as needed.
6. Setup and teardown of various types of stalls, holding pens, bucking chutes, roping chutes, crows nest's, bleachers, animal cages and pens.

Full Time - $20.58/hr plus excellent benefits: Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance & Wyoming Retirement Pension. Paid time off for vacation, sick and holiday.

Rodeo/Equine Event Technician Supervisor-Full-Time

CAM-PLEX is currently looking a full-time Event Technician Supervisor. The qualified candidate will supervise, direct, and/or perform the full range of event set-up, tear-down, and maintenance duties for a wide variety of events. Works with customers to improve setups and operations. Creates a monthly budget and work schedules. Submits timecards. Performs property maintenance, snow removal, equine arena chores, and stall clean up. Provides other assistance as required by individual event and/or user. Provide other assistance as required by individual event and/or user; work varied hours to include nights, weekends and holidays. Five to seven years of related experience in event setup including the operation of job related equipment and Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.


EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Supervises the work of assigned personnel, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Coordinates and performs snow removal which may include plowing, hand shoveling, and dispersing ice melting compounds as needed.
  • Identifies and reports building maintenance needs. Performs minor repair work.
  • Sets up and tears down various types of stalls, holding pens, bucking chutes, roping chutes, crows-nests, bleachers, animal cages, and pens.
  • Assists in developing annual budget request. Requisitions supplies and materials. Estimates time, materials, and equipment required for assigned jobs. Purchases supplies according to policy and as needed.
  • Assists Event Custodians with event setup, trash removal, and bathroom checks as needed.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, safety meetings, and related activities. Attends workshops, conferences, and classes to increase knowledge. Serves on committees as assigned.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Full Time - $61,568/year plus excellent benefits: Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance & Wyoming Retirement Pension. Paid time off for vacation, sick and holiday.

CAM-PLEX is currently looking for individuals for the position of Event Custodian. The qualified candidate will perform a full range of custodial duties as they relate to the care, maintenance, and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities; perform event set-up and tear down; provide other assistance as required by an individual event and/or user. Work varied hours to include nights, evenings, weekends and holidays. One to two years of related experience in custodial work experience including the operation of job-related equipment. Maintenance Technician

CAM-PLEX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to performs a variety of entry level and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work including snow removal, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and custodial duties at our CAM-PLEX Facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assists with a variety of general duties including replacing light bulbs and installing simple shelving.
  • Operates a variety of basic hand and power tools.
  • Assists with draining and winterizing of sprinkler systems, RV parks, etc.
  • Assists custodial staff as needed. Cleans and maintains assigned areas. Sets-up and tears-down events. Performs trash removal and bathroom checks.
  • Assists with snow removal, including plowing, hand shoveling and dispersing ice melting compounds as needed.
  • Rotating schedule for call out on nights, weekends and holidays for emergency situations
  • Performs maintenance checks of all power equipment, including filters, fuel, lubrication, and traction. Follows assigned preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Assists temporary and seasonal employees in the operation of power equipment.
  • Assists with a variety of general skilled trade duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and procedures
  • Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Up to one (1) year of experience in facility maintenance
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Class C driver's license
$20.58/hr DOE plus excellent benefits. Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance & Wyoming Retirement Pension. Paid time off for vacation, sick and holiday.

Performing Arts Volunteer

Performing Arts Ambassador

Ambassadors are volunteers who help staff events in the Heritage Center Theater. Ambassadors perform duties such as:
  • Greet the public
  • Assist patrons to their seats
  • Take tickets
  • Hand out programs
  • Crowd control
  • Assist handicapped patrons
  • Help in the gallery
  • Sell concessions and/or merchandise
The requirements to become an ambassador are:
  • At least be Junior High School age or older
  • Be able to work with the public
  • Show an interest in performing arts events
