Sales Manager, Senior

CAM-PLEX is currently looking to fill the position of Sales Manager, Senior. This position assists with promotions, marketing, and public relations. Pursues the full utilization of an event facility as a multi-user convention and event facility. Builds rapport and strong relationships with associations and event promoters. Leverages the assets the locality and facility offer to attract and retain events. Facilitates art gallery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Researches and recruits events for CAM-PLEX on the state/regional/national/international level. Writes proposals, cost sheets, and letters of intent. Responds to RFP’s, creates sample setups, sends marketing packets, and arranges site visits.
  • Creates maintains and tracks budgets. • Attends conferences and trade shows on behalf of CAM-PLEX in order to market the facility for event use. Offers presentations to local agencies and community groups in order to inform them of CAM-PLEX Activities.
  • Updates and publishes CAM-PLEX web site to search engines. Updates and maintains event planning guide.
  • Assists in the development, coordination, and layout of the convention bid packets including facility information, general information, extracurricular events, recommended lodging, financial cost, and community support.
  • Works closely with Director of Sales and Marketing in organizing, promoting, and scheduling special events and preparing promotions, giveaways, breakfast, lunches, dinners, receptions, lodging, and transportation.
  • Works closely with event organizers to meet any additional needs or requirements, including but not limited to catering, concessions, trade shows, lodging, extracurricular activities, set up, transportation, decoration, clerical service, telephone, fax, and copying service.
  • Acts as an CAM-PLEX liaison during conventions and provides information on CAM-PLEX, Gillette, and Campbell County.
  • Participates in the development, planning, implementation, and review of the overall marketing campaign for CAM-PLEX and CAM-PLEX sponsored events.
  • Works closely on the development of radio, television, and print advertising as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing. Notifies media through press releases of upcoming conventions and events.
  • Supervises personnel.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and procedures
  • Performs related duties as required.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, or events
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities

Required Licenses or Certifications:
• Class C driver’s license

This is a full time benefitted position. $50,793.60 – $60,964.80/year DOE

Rodeo/Equine Event Technician - Full Time

CAM-PLEX is currently looking a full-time Event Technician. The qualified candidates will perform a variety of event setup, teardown, and maintenance of agricultural buildings including indoor and outdoor arenas, and other buildings as assigned. Provide other assistance as required by individual event and/or user; work varied hours to include nights, weekends and holidays. Three to four years of related experience in event setup including the operation of job related equipment and ability to obtain Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.


EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1 Operate equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner as required by facility needs. Perform daily maintenance including oil levels, air and fuel filters, grease fittings and tire pressure checks.
2. Maintain dirt arenas for all events as required.
3. Assist with setup and tear down of CAM-PLEX events in East Pavilion including rodeos, cuttings, livestock sales, roping competitions, and the county fair.
4. Clean and maintain stables, make repairs as needed.
5. Assist with snow removal which may include plowing, hand shoveling and dispersing ice melting compounds as needed.
6. Setup and teardown of various types of stalls, holding pens, bucking chutes, roping chutes, crows nest's, bleachers, animal cages and pens.

Full Time - $20.18/hr plus excellent benefits: Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance & Wyoming Retirement Pension. Paid time off for vacation, sick and holiday.

CAM-PLEX is currently looking for individuals for the position of Part-Time Event Custodian. The qualified candidates will perform a full range of custodial duties as they relate to the care, maintenance, and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities; perform event set-up and tear down; provide other assistance as required by an individual event and/or user. CAM-PLEX is currently seeking a high energy individual for Administrative Assistant

Example of Daily Responsibilities:
• Receive calls and visitors; answer questions and provide information; route phone and/or radio calls and take messages as appropriate.
• Type, proofread, and edit documents, presentation materials, brochures, grant requests, and other materials for grammar, clarity, punctuation, and spelling; examine documents for completeness and accuracy;
• Perform routine bookkeeping duties; collect and receipt money; issue receipts; maintain record of transactions.
• Plan, organize, and carry out administrative assignments; research, compile, and organize information and data from various sources in order to prepare monthly, annual and/or special reports
• Provide routine information and forms to staff and the public.

A high school diploma and specialized training or college courses in office administration or the equivalent. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to multi task is required.

Part-Time Theater Event Positions

CAM-PLEX is looking for part-time staff to assist with varying theater events. Job duties will vary with this position and hours/ shifts will be depending on events. Must have good cash handling skills, be able to lift 20 lbs. Little to no experience required. Pay depending on experience. Performing Arts Volunteer

Performing Arts Ambassador

Ambassadors are volunteers who help staff events in the Heritage Center Theater. Ambassadors perform duties such as:
  • Greet the public
  • Assist patrons to their seats
  • Take tickets
  • Hand out programs
  • Crowd control
  • Assist handicapped patrons
  • Help in the gallery
  • Bake cookies
  • Sell concessions and/or merchandise
The requirements to become an ambassador are:
  • At least be Junior High School age or older
  • Be able to work with the public
  • Show an interest in performing arts events
