Box Office Policies and FAQ

How do I contact the Box Office?

We also open an hour and a half before performances. If you would like to purchase tickets outside Box Office hours, please visit www.cam-plex.com.

What methods of payment do you accept?

CAM-PLEX Box Office will accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Debit/Credit card fees apply.

What are the additional fees on my ticket purchase?

VENUE FEE: Beginning with the 2018-2019 Theater Season, there will be a Venue Fee attached to each ticket purchased through CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Facilities. Each ticket priced $1-10 will have a $1 fee. Each ticket priced $10.01+ will have a $2 fee.

What is General Admission and Reserved Seating?

A general admission (GA) show means on show day, the patron will choose their own seat in the theater on a first come first serve basis. For a reserved seating show, the patron will choose their seat using a seating map at the time of purchase.

Why aren’t my seat numbers consecutive?

The CAM-PLEX Heritage Center Theater uses European Seating. This means all seats in the center section are numbered consecutively, while the left side of the house is listed by odd numbers and the right side of the house is listed by even numbers. For example, if you are on the left side of the house and you have seats numbered 15 and 17, your seats are beside one another. Alternately, if you are on the right side of the house and you have seats numbered 8 and 10, you will also be beside one another.

When should we arrive?

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled performance time. Doors to the Lobby open 1 hour prior to show time. The house will open approximately 30 prior to show time for seating.

What happens if my tickets are lost or stolen, or if i am unable to print them at home?

Currently, our software permits us to look up your purchase and reprint your ticket(s) if necessary. Because the ticket scanners can detect if a ticket has been scanned or not, any attempt to reuse a ticket will alert our ticket takers of the duplicate ticket(s).

What happens if an event is postponed or canceled?

Performance cancellations are very rare. In the event of a postponement or cancellation, every effort will be made to notify patrons. Patrons will then be notified within three business days by the Box Office so that arrangements can be made to process any exchanges or refunds.

Can I cancel an order after it is placed?

All sales are final. It is possible for you to exchange your tickets to another show and under certain circumstances you may be able to get a refund. If arrangements have been made with the Box Office, it is also possible for you to give or sell your ticket(s) to another patron.

What are the ages for youth and seniors?

Unless specified with the show, youth is considered ages 4-17 and ages 60+ qualify as senior. Active and non-active military discounts are also available with ID.

Do you sell tickets through other websites?

Please be advised that the CAM-PLEX Box Office — www.cam-plex.com — is the ONLY authorized online seller of tickets for performances in the Heritage Center Theater and Wyoming Center. There are many “second party vendors” online that offer to sell tickets to performances at CAM-PLEX, usually at prices much higher. If you purchase tickets from such a vendor, you will spend more than necessary and run the risk that such “tickets” will not be valid. Protect yourself and be sure to do any online ticket purchasing through the CAM-PLEX Box Office.

What if I arrive late?

Late seating can be disruptive to the performer and to the audience. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the production and CAM-PLEX Front of House staff and may be required to wait outside the auditorium until an appropriate break allows for seating with minimal disruption.

Can I bring my child to an event?

While we do not have a strict policy on whether a child should attend a performance, please note that some of our events are not appropriate for young children. Most comedy shows include language and content for mature audiences only. Just because an artist is "clean" on TV does not mean he or she will be clean in person. Please respect the experience of the audience sitting around you if you plan to bring a young child. In the case that your child becomes a distraction, we ask that you take them to the available cry rooms or the lobby. The Box Office staff can help to determine if a performance is appropriate for your child.

Do you offer Gift Certificates?

Gift Certificates are available upon request and make great gifts! Please stop by the Box Office or call during business hours to purchase a gift certificate.

patrons with accessibility needs

Accommodations are available for patrons when needed. Please notify the Box Office when purchasing tickets to ensure that we are best prepared to help accommodate your needs. We offer spaces for wheelchairs, oversized seating, companion seating and listening assist devices for most performances.

Can I exchange my seats?

We are able to exchange tickets for a show. There is a $3 fee per ticket exchange.

What if it snows?

If a performance goes on even though the weather is poor, the CAM-PLEX is not required to provide a refund. If a performance is cancelled, refunds or exchanges will be offered. Every effort will be made to notify you in case of a cancellation.

Can I take pictures or video?

Due to contract restrictions stipulated by Actor's Equity, the national union of professional stage actors and managers, the use of recording equipment or the taking of photographs is strictly prohibited at all performances. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones with cameras, video cameras, and audio recording devices. CAM-PLEX reserves the right to confiscate any and all devices in non-compliance to this policy and all recordings will need to be deleted from the recording device.

Do you offer group discounts?

There are some performances where a group discount can be offered with the permission of the production. CAM-PLEX will advertise when these options are available. We ask that a Group Leader is designated to coordinate the group and arrange for submitting the payment in one lump sum.

Theater Etiquette

Due to the intimate nature of our performances, almost any noise may be disruptive for other patrons, as well as the actors on stage. Out of courtesy, we insist that all electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, watch alarms, etc.) be turned to off or silent. Conversation must be kept to a minimum and text messaging is forbidden. There are cry rooms available for parents with children who need to utilize the private space. Cry rooms are equipped with seats, lighting and sound feed for the performance. There is also video and sound feed into the lobby if patrons need to remove themselves from the theater due to normal disturbances. Belligerent, rude, and non-compliant patrons will be escorted by the Front of House staff out of the building.
