CAM-PLEX is currently looking to fill the position of Event Technician.The qualified candidate will perform a variety of event setup, teardown, and maintenance of agricultural buildings including indoor and outdoor arenas, and other buildings as assigned. Provide other assistance as required by individual event and/or user; work varied hours to include nights, weekends and holidays. Three to four years of related experience in event setup including the operation of job related equipment. Class B CDL required. $19.52 plus excellent benefits. For a full job description go to

Part-Time Custodian

CAM-PLEX is offering a part time position for an event setup/custodial person. Hours and shift will vary depending on events. Work will consist of setup and tear down of tables, chairs, stages, etc., including cleaning floors and restrooms during, after, and in-between events. Must possess a valid driver's license. Wage is $9-10/hour.

Volunteer Opportunities

Theater Ambassador

Ambassadors are volunteers who help staff events in the Heritage Center Theater. Ambassadors perform duties such as:
  • Greet the public
  • Assist patrons to their seats
  • Take tickets
  • Hand out programs
  • Crowd control
  • Assist handicapped patrons
  • Help in the gallery
  • Bake cookies
  • Sell concessions and/or merchandise
The requirements to become an ambassador are:
  • At least be Junior High School age or older
  • Be able to work with the public
  • Show an interest in performing arts events
  • Want to have fun
