Marketing Coordinator

CAM-PLEX has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator. The position assists with promotions, marketing, and public relations. Pursues the full utilization of an event facility as a multi-user convention and event facility. Builds rapport and strong relationships with associations and event promoters. Leverages the assets the locality and facility offer to attract and retain events. Assists in the creation of strategies for the execution of advertisement, promotions, and public relations. Works to increase interest and awareness of CAM-PLEX facilities, services, and programming to attract new customers and utilization of the facility.

EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assist in the development, coordination, and layout of CAM-PLEX bid packets, promotional and informational materials.
  • Develops public relations strategies and coordinates implementation with Executive Director.
  • Contacts prospective businesses, organizations, and associations on a local, regional, and national level to solicit conventions and meetings.
  • Participates in the development, planning, implementation, and review of overall marketing.
  • Works closely with customers and staff in developing radio, television and print advertising. Notifies media through press releases of upcoming events.
  • Updates and publishes website. Manages SEO and optimizes marketing channels for greatest leverage.
  • Updates and maintains event planning guide.
  • Maintains up-to-date assets that display CAM-PLEX spaces for marketing and sales materials.
  • Works closely with Director of Sales and Administration in organizing, promoting, and scheduling special events and preparing promotions that further the mission of CAM-PLEX.
  • Manages social media platforms to achieve intended organizational outcomes.
  • Maintains and upholds the public image and reputation of CAM-PLEX as Wyoming's premier multi- event facility.
  • Works collaboratively across all departments to organize and facilitate marketing initiatives.
  • Develops strategic cross-marketing partnerships with other businesses and organizations.
  • Maintains a workflow that achieves the timely and proactive delivery of marketing strategies and content to maximize event sales and awareness.
  • Works closely on the development of radio, television, and print advertising as directed by the Marketing Manager. Notifies media through press releases of upcoming conventions and events.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, or event
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Required Licenses or Certifications

  • Class C Driver's License

This is a full-time benefitted position starting at $47,091.20/year DOE + Excellent Benefits

Rodeo/Equine Event Technician - Full Time

CAM-PLEX is currently looking a full-time Event Technician. The qualified candidates will perform a variety of event setup, teardown, and maintenance of agricultural buildings including indoor and outdoor arenas, and other buildings as assigned. Provide other assistance as required by individual event and/or user; work varied hours to include nights, weekends and holidays. Three to four years of related experience in event setup including the operation of job related equipment and ability to obtain Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.


EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1 Operate equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner as required by facility needs. Perform daily maintenance including oil levels, air and fuel filters, grease fittings and tire pressure checks.
2. Maintain dirt arenas for all events as required.
3. Assist with setup and tear down of CAM-PLEX events in East Pavilion including rodeos, cuttings, livestock sales, roping competitions, and the county fair.
4. Clean and maintain stables, make repairs as needed.
5. Assist with snow removal which may include plowing, hand shoveling and dispersing ice melting compounds as needed.
6. Setup and teardown of various types of stalls, holding pens, bucking chutes, roping chutes, crows nest's, bleachers, animal cages and pens.

Full Time - $20.18/hr plus excellent benefits: Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance & Wyoming Retirement Pension. Paid time off for vacation, sick and holiday.

CAM-PLEX is currently looking for individuals for the position of Event Custodian. The qualified candidate will perform a full range of custodial duties as they relate to the care, maintenance, and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities; perform event set-up and tear down; provide other assistance as required by an individual event and/or user. Work varied hours to include nights, evenings, weekends and holidays. One to two years of related experience in custodial work experience including the operation of job-related equipment. Valid driver's license required.

Maintenance Technician, Senior

CAM-PLEX is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of journey level and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work of assigned CAM-PLEX Facilities; provide a variety of journey level and semi-skilled maintenance and repair which may include interior, exterior and equipment repairs. Troubleshoot operating problems for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems in the County facilities, provide recommendations for long-term solutions, and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Assist in the installation, repair and maintenance of varied building components including computer and communication cabling, electrical wiring, light fixtures and related equipment. Available for snow removal in the early mornings, on call or emergency services as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
6 months + training beyond High School
1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance
Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities

$24.91/hr DOE plus excellent benefits. Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance & Wyoming Retirement Pension. Paid time off for vacation, sick and holiday.

Performing Arts Volunteer

Performing Arts Ambassador

Ambassadors are volunteers who help staff events in the Heritage Center Theater. Ambassadors perform duties such as:
  • Greet the public
  • Assist patrons to their seats
  • Take tickets
  • Hand out programs
  • Crowd control
  • Assist handicapped patrons
  • Help in the gallery
  • Sell concessions and/or merchandise
The requirements to become an ambassador are:
  • At least be Junior High School age or older
  • Be able to work with the public
  • Show an interest in performing arts events
  • Want to have fun
