Our purpose is to recognize and reward the talents of dance students while promoting the performing arts in the communities we serve. Participation in Spotlight Dance Cup’s competition builds self-esteem, develops character, cultivates friendships, and improves dance and performance skills. We strive for a fun, exciting, and satisfying experience for the artists, parents, audience members, and instructors. We believe that dancers will grow in a supportive environment by participating in a well-organized, prestigious, and dynamic event.

Each and every Spotlight competition is staged as a professional theatrical production. Our events are family-oriented and student-focused. We strive to run our competitions on time in a friendly, low-stress, personalized, and caring atmosphere. We recruit talented and professional judges who offer impartial and constructive oral and video critiques of each performance that are inspiring to dancers of all ages and ability levels.
