Oh The Places You Can Go As Rodeo Royalty

Opportunities and Info About Running For Rodeo Royalty

In 2020 the World met some extraordinary challenges, for the United States, the huge impact of how we conducted events began primarily in March exactly one year ago. For the Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association we produced a very successful virtual clinic in May of 2020. In 2021, however, we are welcoming a renewed spirit for events and gatherings. So our 2021 Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association is committed to bringing our MRWA Clinic to you in person! We are using a different format for the 2021 clinic and we will bring a one day session to you for free, no cost!

MRWA’s 2021 clinics “Oh The Places You Can Go As Rodeo Royalty, Opportunities and Info About Running For Rodeo Royalty” will be in the following places in Wyoming during April, May, and June: Thermopolis Sunday April 18, 2021 at the Hot Springs County Fair Building, Gillette Sunday April 25, 2021 at the CamPlex Wyoming Center Equality Hall, Big Piney Saturday May 1, 2021 at the Big Piney Library, and Douglas Saturday June 5, 2021, at the Wyoming State Fair Board Room. All these one day information sessions/clinics are free to attend and will run from 10 AM to 3 PM with lunch included. In addition to these free one day sessions MRWA will host a two day Horsemanship Clinic the weekend of June 18-20, 2021.

In the one day sessions you will get some insight into how being rodeo royalty has impacted the lives of those carrying the crown as well as members of the communities and states they represent. We will also focus on a Q&A session to help clarify questions, concerns, responsibilities, and procedures for those interested in running for a title as well as those that are reigning royalty. You will also discover how royalty can be a spokesperson for rodeo, the Western lifestyle and agricultural industries. In the afternoon we will explore arena and rodeo etiquette, creating a bio, what an impromptu question is and how to respond to them, the importance of rodeo knowledge, and horse bowl fun!

This is a perfect opportunity to investigate if this is something you are interested in pursuing. The opportunities and experiences you gain from holding a rodeo royalty title can give you skills for forming life goals, community service, and job applications/interviews. Rodeo royalty titles can be an exciting and fun way to gain positive lifelong skills.

Rodeo royalty symbolizes the youth of Wyoming that wish to further promote the sport of professional rodeo and the great western way of life. Miss Rodeo Wyoming is a western-type young lady who represents her state, believes in our western heritage and works hard in promoting these values during her travels. While spreading good will for her community, her state and the sport of rodeo, Miss Rodeo Wyoming garners experiences that lay a solid foundation for her future. Local title holders are such important representatives for their local communities and the culture that exists in their unique area.
